Depending on your circumstances at the time of your wedding, you may want to get small bands to start with and add more rings later in life. • Silver is another option. Silver is a soft white metal that may scratch easily. It's also prone to discolorations. Silver is a popular choice primarily because of the price.

• Titanium has become popular not only because of its color and shine and the hardness and durability of the metal, but also because it is so moderately priced. This has made it a favorite especially for mens' wedding bands. Titanium is a great choice for cheap wedding rings.

• Platinum is usually considered too soft, but small amounts of other chemicals can be added to make a more durable wedding band. It is one of the most expensive metals.

The basic band styles include: flat, half-round and comfort fit.

• A flat band is one that is rectangular in cross section. Flat bands can be decorated with engravings.

• Half-round bands are very traditional. Half round bands are flat on the underside and rounded on the outside. These bands can also be engraved.

• Comfort-fit bands feature an oval cross section, they are slightly rounded on both sides. They are heavier and usually more expensive than the other types of rings.

A sentimental engraving is a romantic way to add that special touch to this symbol of never-ending love. The following five ideas can help you decide what you would like to say. Engravings are not for everyone, but is a thoughtful jester and makes your cheap wedding rings one of a kind.
